The Role   

We are looking for a talented, goal-oriented and organised social media & email marketing lead to manage projects from inception to completion. The social media & email marketing lead’s responsibilities may include a holistic management or the organisation’s social media accounts. 

To be successful as a Digital Engagement Lead, you must have excellent time organisational, creativity and content writing skills. A top-notch social media & email marketer combines creativity with meticulous planning and research to create successful campaigns and compelling copies  


  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that is closely aligned with overarching business objectives. 
  • Establish precise and measurable goals, and subsequently provide detailed reports on Return on Investment (ROI) in relation to social media efforts. 
  • Generate compelling content to be crafted into marketable materials for dissemination across various social media platforms. 
  • Oversee the active posting and engagement on all social media channels, including interaction with content from recognised thought leaders. 
  • Efficiently manage the content calendar to ensure that posting schedules align seamlessly with the overarching marketing calendar. 
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional team members to facilitate the timely production of marketing materials. 
  • Conduct proactive searches for pertinent industry news and strategically leverage these findings to promote and enhance the organisation’s brand presence 
  • Identify target audience and grow our email list 
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling 
  • Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalisation and advanced feature 
  • Analyse campaign performance, build report to senior managers and suggest improvements 
  • Build and grow followers & email list through organic efforts 
  • Collaborate with team members to work on the design and copy/content part 
  • Identify different segmentation criteria based on audience behaviour, demographic, geographic, psychographic characteristics, etc. 
  • Understand how SEO works and implement it in the Social Media Campaigns  
  • Ensure compliance while executing email marketing campaigns and collecting data 

Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience  

  • 2+  years proven work experience in social media and email marketing 
  • Hands on experience in content management 
  • Excellent copywriting skills 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels – Must have LinkedIn and Twitter experience. 
  • Good understanding of social media algothrims and how they work 
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
