Orlando brings extensive experience as a climate resilience specialist. He brings particular knowledge of the regulated UK water and waste management services industry with particular working knowledge of developing climate adoption strategies to align with current climate regulations. Orlando has over 6 years of experience working in the water and waste service industry, delivering projects focused on improving water service resilience and reducing environmental impact. He is highly knowledgeable in a wide range of carbon reduction areas relating to energy efficiency, waste management, renewable energy, green building and climate change mitigation . He has worked on several complex corporate climate adoption and sustainable practice projects applying climate impact frameworks such as the UN Sustainability Development Goals, GHG Protocol, Science–Based Target initiatives, ESG frameworks and the Paris Agreement regulatory framework. Recently he delivered a Climate Adoption Plan for Northern Ireland Water, outlining an implementation roadmap to achieve net zero targets, providing strategic engagement approaches to support customers, local businesses, supply chain reductions and land carbon offsetting. Orlando is an active member of the sustainability and environmental community, always looking for ways to further her knowledge and advance the cause of sustainability. He holds a BSc in Engineering, and a Master’s in Business Administration(MBA) specialising in sustainable transformation.
